I can hazard a guess that you have at least one box of baking soda in your home at this moment. I have a few myself. Most people use baking soda to absorb odors in different parts of the home and workplace. You can clean the drain by pouring half a cup of baking soda down the drain. Then add a cup of white vinegar. The mixture will start foaming. While it foams, boil some water and pour down the drain. This will help to clear the drain and remove odors.

For cleaning your washroom with baking soda, mix baking soda and liquid soap in a bowl. Dilute the mixture with water. Then add pure white vinegar. Stir it to remove any lumps. Put the mixture into a spray bottle. You may have to shake the bottle well before each use.

Spray generously the area of the washroom to be cleaned and scrub with a nylon sponge. Then, simply rinse with regular water. Once again, please keep the sunglasses on to protect your eyes from the brilliant shine.

For whiter whites and bolder colors, add about a half cup of baking soda to your regular laundry load. Front-loading washers only need about 1/4 cup. The baking soda softens the water and increases the potency of bleach so you can save money by using less detergent and bleach.
